The Liberty Motor Company has developed this wheelchair access modification with your safety and satisfaction in mind. This owner’s manual will assist you in ensuring the safe operation of your vehicle. Please read and understand this owner’s manual before operating your wheelchair access conversion vehicle. Be thoroughly familiar with all of the controls and have knowledge in the proper use of the equipment.

Unless specifically addressed in this manual, please refer to the “Owner’s Manual” provided by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation for the comprehensive operating instructions and maintenance guidelines of your Dodge Grand Caravan.

The Liberty wheelchair conversion is a quality product designed to provide years of dependable service when operated and maintained properly. Improper use or abuse of the conversion can cause severe injury or death.

Use only authorized replacement parts from The Liberty Motor Co. Inc. Do not attempt to modify, change, replace, remove or alter the conversion in any way, as this may render the vehicle unsafe. Always ensure that anyone operating the vehicle or wheelchair access conversion is fully capable and has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the vehicle, ramp and tie-down system. Anyone using the conversion must understand the information in this manual.

Safe operation of the conversion requires complete and unimpaired attention at all times. Do not operate the conversion, or the vehicle, if fatigued or during or after consumption of medication, drugs or alcohol.
